A useful quality standard is specific and visible.
"Good quality" means little until the product has agreed measurements, materials, construction, artwork, placement, color direction, finishing, and packaging requirements.
Natural materials and production processes can carry normal variation. Tolerances and visual expectations should be discussed for the actual product instead of assuming every characteristic can be identical.

Fit, measurements, workmanship, placement, hand feel, and visible finish are compared with the intended direction.
Material confirmation
Bulk fabric, trims, labels, colors, and relevant components are checked against what was approved or specifically reconfirmed.
In-process review
Construction and decoration are checked during production so repeat issues can be identified before the order is fully completed.
Finishing and measurement review
Finished garments are assessed for agreed measurements, workmanship, marks, thread cleanup, decoration, and general presentation.
Packing and dispatch review
Size, labeling, folding, packing, quantities, and shipping preparation are checked against the confirmed packing requirement.

Review the sample like a production reference.

Assess fabric weight, stretch, opacity, recovery, comfort, and intended use where relevant.

Any product-performance, test, sustainability, capacity, or facility statement must be matched to valid evidence and the relevant product or production scope before it is published.

Product performance depends on its actual material, construction, decoration, use, and care.
No hidden substitutions
A material or component change that affects the approved direction should be reconfirmed before use.
No fabricated proof
Laboratory results, customer logos, and production claims are not displayed without verification and permission.
The approved sample is the working reference, but normal production and material tolerances can apply. Relevant measurements, color expectations, artwork placement, and acceptable variation should be agreed for the product.
Report it promptly with the order reference, affected quantity, sizes or colors, clear photos, measurements where relevant, and a description of how the item differs from the approved specification.
Any performance statement should be supported by relevant material information, testing, or another appropriate source for the actual product. Unsupported universal claims are not used.
